Wine Tasting at Ellipsis, Colaba

All Things Nice put together an extraordinary wine tasting followed by dinner on the 19th of April at Ellipsis. An exceptional list of wines- some of which included Champagne Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, Olivier Leflaive Pinot Noir from Burgundy, Il Querciolaia (Super Tuscan), Framingham Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough New Zealand, Woodstock Chardonnay from McLaren Vale, Domaine Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Syrah and Guy Saget Vouvray. A lively discussion ensued while the wines were tasted pre dinner in the company of Nikhil, Sommelier & Director All Things Nice and then, guests were free to choose what they would like to drink to accompany their courses prepared by Chef Kelvin. The evening ended with fine Cognac from Remy Martin.

The All Things Nice Liber Pater Wine Dinner

All Things Nice co-hosted a Wine Dinner with Loic Pasquet of Liber Pater. Guests experienced various vintages of their extraordinary wines. Their wines command some of the highest prices in Bordeaux and the rest of the world. Nikhil paired the wines with a truly magnificent menu from Two One Two.

All Things Nice promoting Indian Wine at Cannes

All Things Nice is intent on promoting Indian wine internationally. We ensured that Sula's Zinfandel Rose was tasted and served at the launch of The Flying Winemaker TV show at the Cannes TV Festival last week.

All Things Nice Wine Week 2013 in association with BBC Good Food Magazine

11th to 17th February 2013

All Things Nice offered the city of Mumbai a chance to enjoy a enormous selection of wine at 26 of the best restaurants in the city at a flat 30% reduction on price for one week only.

All Things Nice in association with BBC Good Food Magazine introduced a whole week dedicated to wine. From 11th February to 17th February 2013, wine aficionados could indulge, experiment and savour the widest selection of wine available at the city’s best restaurants.

All Things Nice hand-picked select high-end restaurants in the city to participate in this programme. Guests could pick from over a 1000 wines at any of the partner restaurants at 30%* less than the regular list price.

Food and Wine Pairing Masterclass

BBC Good Food and All Things Nice hosted a lovely little luncheon in association with Le Pain Quotidien, Colaba. It was supposed to be a Masterclass on Food and Wine Pairing but it was far away from being instructional and serious. It was an afternoon well spent, with a group of eager wine enthusiasts and Nikhil's wine and food matching techniques.

Wine Dinner at Neel, Tote on the Turf

All Things Nice & Rahul Akerkar's Neel combined forces to present the ultimate dining experience – we unveiled the supreme pairing of Indian food with Indian and international wines, crushing the myth that Indian food and wine do not compliment each other. We presented elements of India’s rich culinary heritage with eight wines spanning India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Portugal to emphasis our point.

All Things Nice's Sommelier Nikhil Agarwal wins Australian Scholarship 2012

Nikhil Agarwal, Sommelier and Director of All Things Nice has been the first Indian to win the Wine Australia Scholarship 2012. Travelling over 5,000 kilometers, he got to explore 8 regions and 2 capital cities and was hosted by over 20 wine-makers, tasting over 170 wines from 110 producers spanning 30 regions.

Musician Randolp Correia's artworks provided fantastic visual insight into the love life of the urban Indian. The sketches on display at the art gallery False Ceiling were part of Karthikeyan Ramachandran’s graphic novel, 69, a semi autobiographical story about loving and living in Mumbai

All Things Nice at York Live 2012, Nasik

The annual wine and music festival was alive with energy, set within the gorgeous York Winery and the crisp Nasik winter. Karsh Kale headlined the event along with Shri Electric, Something Relevant and the international band Mr. Woodnote & Eva. Fantastic sound and continuous music set the vibe going. Families and youth engaged in grape stomping activities, carnival games and lots of wine and choice of food. All Things Nice was glad to be part of the second edition and looks forward to making this festival bigger and better next year!

All Things Nice partnered with 69 (Chapter 1) – an innovative art-based concept that talks Indian urban relationships. It is a true story of fictional love, told over 69 chapters through a series of exhibitions that will be showcased through 2012.

All Things Nice Whiskey & Single Malt Tasting at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad

It was fascinating to conduct this whiskey tasting and see what Hyderabad loves to drink – top choices for the evening were Lagavulin 16, Glenlivet 12, Black Label and Chivas Regal. The dinner was immaculately displayed and was truly delicious.

This by-invitation-only event turned out to be one great party - All Things Nice set the pace with some fine whiskies and the beautiful ambience at the Taj Deccan only added to what was already a fun night. All Things Nice @ The Table

This was one giant gastronomical adventure. Course after course of brilliant food prepared by the uber talented Chef Alex Sanchez paired with wines from Bordeaux, Stellenbosch and our very own Nasik. The Table is undoubtedly one of the finest restaurants in Mumbai. Everything from the New Orleans Style Lobster and Shrimp Cake, the Red Beet Risotto to the San Francisco style Cioppino was scrumptious.The wines starting of with Sula Brut Rose was great, a wine that more of us should be paying attention to. The La Bonheur Sauvignon Blanc paired brilliantly well with the Warm Chevre Arugula and Apple salad. The Domaine Barons de Rothschild Lafite Réserve Spéciale Bordeaux complimented the Provencal Lamb Ragout beautifully and the Espresso Granita Parfait contrasted wonderfully with York's Late Harvest Chenin Blanc. Nice !

A training session for chefs from all over Mumbai in conjunction with the Italian Culinary Association for Foreigners (ICIF). We love to give back to the industry and this was a fantastic opportunity to share our passion and knowledge on wine, cheese and charcuterie.


All Things Nice @ Chez Vous

Mumbai's only French bistro serving up outstanding food. We celebrated France for one night in Mumbai with wines from Alsace, Bordeaux, Languedoc, Limoux and last but not least Sauternes. This was one decadent dinner comprising of an excellent four course dinner. Ces't la vie !


All Things Nice @ York Live 2011

If you like live music in the company of like minded people, drinking arguably one of India's finest wines in a vineyard that is guaranteed to take your breath away and you didn't make it for the first ever York then missed something special ! All Things Nice is very proud to have put together the first ever York Live - a celebration of wine, music and food. We had Jalebee Cartel, Sha'air n Func, Rodney Branigan and The Mavyns who played beautiful music through out the day long festival. People were laying down on the green grass, grape stomping and loving all the different cuisines. We also had cheese from all over the world and gourmet chocolates. What a day !

All Things Nice @ TASTE 2011

India's best wine and food exhibition went off very well in Mumbai in January 2011. With wine producers from France,Italy,South Africa,India and even Slovenia amongst others showcasing their brands.This three day exhibition was put together at international standards at our very own backyard. Visitors included importers, hoteliers, F&B professionals, sommeliers, restaurateurs and retailers.

After a full day of sales strategies and number crunching what better way to finish than a wine tasting. We showcased top wines from France - Pauillac, Alsace, Champagne, Chateauneuf du pape, Burgundy and Chablis paired with cheese from the very same regions within France. Yummy!


All Things Nice Wine Dinner in association with Good Earth Winery at Pali Village Café

What a beautiful wine dinner! We put together a three course dinner paired with wines from Good Earth Winery at the gorgeous upper section of Pali Village Cafe .It was one very long dinner over great food, great wine and friends that went on for over four hours. If only all Thursday nights could be this epicurean!


All Things Nice & The Wine Rack Present Hill & Dale Wine Maker's Dinner with Guy Webber

Guy Webber, a master of the Pinotage grape varietal from Stellenbosch came all the way from South Africa to showcase his wines to a sold out restaurant at our Hill and Dale Wine Maker's Dinner. A three course gastronomical journey prepared by Olive's very own Executive Chef and to top it off the South African Consulate General made an appearance herself!

All Things Nice Presents Le Nez Du Vin for the first time in India !

For the first time in India, All Things Nice in Association with Dozo Services and Good Earth Winery presented Le Nez Du Vin - Wine Aroma Discovery. Frederic Zantman from Le Nez Du Vin presented a fabulous wine and aroma tastng to showcase the importance of our sense of smell for appreciation of wine using wines from Good Earth Winery. This was part of a series of events to launch Le Nez Du Vin in India that was conducted in Nashik, Chennai and Mumbai.

Available in 72 countries Le Nez Du Vin is ardently used by wine makers,sommeliers, wine enthusiasts, food and beverage professionals and students to gain a better understanding and therefore appreciation of the various aromas found in wine.

'Our aim is to promote wine and food culture in India and one of the fundamentals is education.Therefore introducing Le Nez Du Vin to people in India is in line with our goals' says Nikhil Agarwal,sommelier and Director of All Things Nice.

Preceding the re-launch of ITC's world class restaurant - West View - All Things Nice & Fortune Gourmet Specialties collaborated on an extensive seminar on international charcuterie,cheese and wine for some of India's leading chefs. A sublime experience brought upon by tasting outstanding cheeses & charcuterie all paired with fine wines from across the globe.

Fortune Gourmet Specialties & All Things Nice at the Institute of Hotel Management - Aurungabad (IHM-A)

A 3 day seminar to educate IHM-A students on international cheese, charcuterie, wine and wine and food pairing. The thirst for knowledge evident in the students response & questions and by IHM-A's faculty's desire to create an unforgettable experience for them. India's place in wine and food culture in the world looks very promising with young chefs with eager minds wanting to create innovative and cutting edge restaurants and food styles. We went to inspire & got inspired ourselves.

All Things Nice proudly sponsored the opening of The Art Loft. The Art Loft is Bandra's new creative space founded by French-Indian art therapist Leila Tayebaly to help individuals connect with their inner selves through art. The Art Loft commonly referred to as 'Say It In Color' provides classes on photography, cinema, art therapy and fine art, amongst others. All Things Nice conducts weekly wine appreciation classes in our endeavor to promote wine culture in India.

ATN @ Sommelier India Wine Competition 2009

The Sommelier India Wine Competition was organised by Sommelier India and WSI and chaired by Steven Spurrier. The esteemed panel of judges included industry experts Vir Sanghvi, Rahul Arkerkar , Sanjay Menon and Aman Sharma amongst others. From organising the event, to permissions, to marketing, sales and sponsorship, ATN was backing SIWC in a big way.
